Connect Edge, a cutting-edge hardware enhancement for the InstrumentConnect
24/7 remote monitoring platform. Connect Edge, equipped with Open Protocol
Communication Unified Architecture (OPC UA) server capabilities, allows
laboratories to seamlessly transmit critical data to both cloud-based and
on-premise systems, such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Designed for efficiency, Connect Edge supports the monitoring of 10 or more laboratory devices through a single gateway via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. The InstrumentConnect platform is compatible with over 700 Thermo Scientific models, offering scalability to suit lab expansion needs while ensuring comprehensive performance monitoring. This innovation empowers lab technicians with vital data for improved decision-making, sample protection, and operational efficiency.
